E30 Zone

Want an uncracked grey dash to fit a 1989 convertible. Need heater controls etc but fine if bare dash.

Hi - can you give me a price for the tensioners which assist the hood to fold up before being stowed below the horseshoe. 1989 convertible

Any links to diagrams for door locking mechanisms. Door latch jammed in the locked position ( with the door open) - cant get the handle to release - taken lock out and moving fork for deadlock with no results. Real headscratcher - cant open passenger door with key or boot. Started dismantling but fe...

Has it been that long.......lol......been so busy - still have car - been garaged for past two years - other things taken priority.

Got the wind in my sails again - started pulling the engine out - will upload some pics later. Still going to do the 2.7 and paint engine bay new foam/stickers etc

Hi guys - Ive got a cost for labour to take out engine, strip down engines B20 and B25 and build a 2.8 and refit - all the parts supplied by myself.

Labour Cost £800 - How does this sound? Low, High, OK??

Does anyone know if you can still buy the wiring and plug for this - the plug that is faulty is attached to the loom on the car (not the perishable plug that attaches to the pad).

Barry - why does the TechII show a Tech I steering wheel?

It's worth what your willing to pay for it - you'll get a million opinions on here - try and find a few cars of similar description as benchmarks - what are you going to do with it? Sounds too good for a daily driver if the mileage is genuine - if it's an investment to be garaged and gently restored...

2 or 3 piece is relevant, however equally important is the manifold connection - 3 bolt and 4 bolt with2 different sizes. Especially important if it is a 2 piece as this includes the connection to the manifold.

It's quiet because people are being driven away by other people who think that they are more important than the cars and a general lack of respect for each other....... In my opinion. I pop in now and again but am generally happy having my own personal E30 experience.

I had an 89 320i SE - Black Leather, HLWW, Tech II Kit in 1994 - 5 Years Old - I was 25.

No 89 colours? Wouldnt mind seeing the 0319 Silver Leather if anyone has a pic.

I'm sure you can copy and paste them into paint.

Can anyone explain in Caveman terms the difference between normal suspension and motorsport - need a source for as near as, if not, oem parts.

Does anyone know if you can still buy or get from an alternative source the leather used in 89 Motorsport Convertibles? The code is 0319 Silver Leather (Silber Volleder)

Good bit away from doing this task but keen to do some research in the meantime.
