Just removed pasenger door lock want to de-lock.
does anybody know if you have to remove the lug of the back of the barrel lock for it to work right ?

Did that today zaust the guy told me it only had ten digits so can't be complete number.
he also said all ther part numbers begin with 230 and 260 is just a stock number.
may be its the bmw agent not very helpful does anybody know the number to a more helpful agent?

Hmmm thats what im thinking My car is h reg 1990 and is pre facelift metal bumpers older style rear lights. I,m no expert but if the later e30 with different lights and i think differnet back pannel would suggest hes right??????????????????? Come on sombody i need to swap tommorow otherwise he wants...

So when i put it back together through the engine over a couple of times by hand .
i will know if its not right?? the pulley you talk about ,is it to the right and just above the crankshft???

you have part no (always same) date it was made.
I have two heads and at the bottom on one it reads 27/01
on other 10/01.

Yes sure about it the right way round.

gap on the near side of the engine bay.

Replaced my rotten fuel tank,fuel hose's under car, fuel filter and changed my fuel presure regulator. But have ended up with a black rubber pipe spare. Yeah its not about the fuel etc. I only used it sunny weekends before (Not many of them then)and will continue to do so after its full cosmetic surgery ! But to be honest i want to try a dogleg box in it for this summer with the new diff i bought!!! 3.15 So if anybody nows of a good box let me Know....
