Re: 320 hgf now soon to be runnung a 2-5
I read somewhere (although I can't find it on the zone?) that the m30 afm was a good upgrade on the 2-5? I've already got a K&N cone that was given to me in preparation of the 2-5 arrival. I've got a few ideas around the proper old insulated diy CAI - surely properly greased this will be better than...

320 hgf now soon to be running a 2-5
Not been around for a little while as my immediate plans for the 320 took a back seat. After a hgf and then driving 2000+ miles (i was on a charity rally across europe ;) ) the 320 lump was pretty knackered. Although, it still ran suprisingly well! Now the tourer is sitting on Beckton, East London b...

Well, life has somewhat overtaken events and I am now a proud father, of a 10 1/2 month old lovely baby daughter! 8) On the downside, I've not had the time, inclination or cash to fix the e30, with my Scumball partner (Jeff) being waaaay too busy - up until this week, when Jeff was surfing ebay with...

E36 everytime. Afterall it's a BM.
Don't discount the M3 Evo. The 3.2's vanos so called issues aren't something that would put me off.
Get yourself over to www.e36coupe.com for more on the e36 (it's kinda like a e30zone for e36's ;))

Easy peesy; four bolts as per the e30.
just be aware that if you have the electronic pre-tensioners ('97 onwards) and / or passengers side airbag becareful & disconnect battery first, otherwise you risk getting an error trigger and the airbag light lit.

What model E36 is it? Generally the earlier e36 are chip changes, whilst the later models require a remap.
