If you take the belt out and put it a gainst either a wall or place it on the floor which ever way it would usually be mounted then try puling it out. I had the exact same problem just before i sold mine!! Ended up breaking 2 seat belts and hunting at a scrap yard for one when the one i already had ...

Sprayed wheels
Has anyone tried sprying there own wheels, just using halfords paint for example. How did it turn out and have you got any pictures? Particularly interested in black and bbs.

As i understand the only difference is the stroke length in the bottom end, so there would be no gains made from fitting a 1.8 head onto a 1.6. So porting the head would be the way forward.

316i, 318i m40 heads
Is the only difference in the 318i and the 316i m40 engines the stroke length? Is there any difference in the cylinder heads. eg size of the valves.

We have loads of snow here and i couldnt even move my car from where it was parked this morning without 3 people in the boot, (my bald tyres dont help
) Then it was fun though drifting roundan amazing corner at the park and ride!!

Im just wondering what the difference in lowering springs is between 6 pots and 4 pots? Is it just the spring weight?

Oh, it looks amazing at the minute, just had it powder coated gloss white and everything on it is black. Ive just spent a fortune on it so i cant get anything at the minute, got the boxxer race 06's. Feel awsome.

Its running fine, just need 3 tyres which i think ive got sorted and the interior is knackered. Just needs a general clean. My mountain bike is worth about twice as much as my car!! its getting silly.

I will try adrian flux, got a good quote today off quins. I chose my projec title which is the best thing to do. My mate is in the dyno lab using different octance fuels to see how much difference they make. Did a mapping coursework last month. it was pretty cool.

What is the best way to chabge the springs on the front of a touring? I had a look today and the haynes says you have to disconect the whole world to do it such as trackrods, antir roll bar etc. I wondered about jacking between the hub and the strut just below the spring to push the hub down and the...

Just driven back from uni now and it has started making a consistent knocking noice! Dam this car, you can feel it when you hang off the front right wheel too. Im sure i tightened everything.

Got round to replacing my steering rack today! Never wanna do that again, the hardest bit is getting the old one out once all the bolts are undone. Ended up bending the brackets right out of the way. Also my steering wheel is now 45 degrees out oops!
