if i was ever to do another m52 conversion, i would tell dan to do the loom for me again again, the standard was exception and oem finish, and the car fired up first time after installation :)

thanks for that dan..... im going to do another diagnostic on friday at a bmw specialist just to see if the same faults come up..... if so im going to change them asap...... got a m50 manifold goin on aswell in a couple of weeks :D ......car really is amazing!!!!!! how many knock sensors are there??...

what accerator cable can be used!!!

my conversion is nealy complete just finishing touches left.... my accelerator cable is snaped .. now do i buy another 318is cable or is there another cable better suited to the m52...

hi , hope some 1 can help.... i have just stepped in from trying to install my m52 .... the rear monifold has been chopped and been fitted to pass steering column... the problem is the front monifold , where the down pipe flang is it hits the crossmember/steering rack.... does it need to be cut and ...

mine has the gap at the front aswel (speed boat look )... i was woundering out off all the springs on the market which ones sit the lowest ie jamex..apex..h&rs etc... M20 flywheel will bolt straight on, grinding the fins on the sump or get the flywheel lightened is all thats needed Dont forget the spigot bearing mate i have just took off the m52 set up and replaced it with the m20 set up, with the flywheel being lightened, whats the spigot ring and where does it...

lads just like to say a guy i used to know had a engineering company and banded some steelies for the dub scenea and banded some alloys , its totally safe , just like normal rims , i had a set of banded steelies for my misses polo. fronts 8.25 rears 9" and never had any probs!!!

I made the mistake of fitting those when my touring failed the MOT.
