So I've sold the E30....

After much deciding and a couple of ads locally and on here, I've sold the E30. "OKK" has gone to somewhere in Aldershot, they're gonna strip it for the engine. To get it back up and presentable would have cost £££ as the arches were shot, etc and I know the fate of older not-so-good E30s is fraggin...

its not a stupid question, but it is not the answer. a knackered "donut" normally ends up with vibration your problems will lie with old and tired auto fluid or low fluid note the engine should be running when doing while checking the auto box dip stick, run the engine up to temp then with brake on...

Can I ask a stupid question, but what are the symptoms of a knackered prop coupling on a 325 auto ?

Does engine and transmission feels like it's straining - like a brake bind that isn't?
Make sense?

Don't know about anyone else but wouldn't fit an LPG kit myself as reflected in my LPG fuelled 226,000 mile M50B25 engine, which still has compression figures similar to when it was originally run in. If that's not a convincing case for LPG, I don't know what is! Barnz - I'm more than happy to do t...

Ed, if these are much cheaper sourced in the UK then let me know and I'd be happy to sort you out. Eurocarpars are wanting £64 for a fan coupling, which seems expensive to me, this is for a BOGE one.
