what swirly said is your best bet, thats how i started. Went out for some midnight drift sessions round loads of roundabouts(private of course) and let rip, its s*it your pants scary to start with and you do mess up, hence why you go at midnight, but just practice and practice and it will come! In a 318i its a right mission to drift in the dry unless on an airfield on space the same size as, where you can have speed and room to mess up, i dont have an LSD but i can go easy twice round roundabouts(obviously on my private roundabout) sliding sideways very nicely!

had rusted jacking points on my 318i, got them sorted though and it only cost Ԛ£75 for both sides! and this wasnt a cowboy job but from a very reputable bodyshop.

The thirst of the 325i must be like a shark in the desert! I'd love to get one but my 318i drinks to much.
I do love driving it though, probably a bit too much though, im a student and i dont half rack up the miles, cant help it though, driving is immense :D !!!

IS is good if you can get a good one, but when things go wrong they can be expensive :cry: and the IS is known for being a bit tempremental! wouldnt know what the 320 is like. i thimk i know what you mean about the sender pump as i saw one in an e30 in a scrapyard, mine however doesnt have one(if this the item in another hole under the passenger side back seat!) i hope its not meant to have one as its run fine without one so far? the car is an 89 318i, havent checked the ...

God Damn Fuel Pump!!

Car was cranking but not starting and no noise from fuel pump, and no sign of fuel getting through! Changed the pump and now can hear it working as it should, but still it wont fire up :x . Could it be the relay aswell thats gone, but then surely i wouldnt be able to hear the pump working :? ? I als...

Fuel pump relay?????????

Anyone any idea which relay in the fuse box is the one for the fuel pump, non of the are named and theres no diagrams in the bmw book or the good old Haynes(or not so good in this case!) how stupid :( its an 89 318i lux, if that helps

Anyone know wether m3's were galvanised, as ive seen one with moss growing on it and wondered wether the body would be rotten or not. Ive left a note in the post box as i want it, looks a beast! also anything i should do to try and start a car that hasnt been started in years? Cheers guys. :cool:
