E30 Zone

i'd have felt ripped off if i never received received it... mine only sits flush at the back when two or more inches are sticking out the front,, that is too bg,,unless i get it cut,,,what did you cut these with??as the cut edge is shiny,or polished Wanna measure it before you cut it. I wanna figur...

The rieger I know is 1.5", my rieger lip ha right on it that it is a rieger original, dunno if yours does, but this one does and it is exactly identical, so not sure how it grew an extra half inch on that one. So its flush with the back and its 2" from the front most part of your lip to the lip on the splitter? Just curious cuz yours is based exactly on what my rieger is and I have that right infront of me and its 1.5" Is yours a real rieger? Just curious cuz its not adding up to me.

Thats wierd yours is so large. I know I sent out a 1.5" rieger cuz one of them was, but the rest should be 1". I wonder if I just screwed up and forgot to cut the backs off of those two... I'm mystified right now about that, I checked them all before they went out to make sure they were all the same...

The one's on the front page up top are actually different splitters. What about the exhaust manifold on the left side, wouldn't that create an issue I would think... Since they only came out on the right side of the car in the 6 cylinders as well as 4 cylinders

i presume the pistons are convex seeing as its a multivalve so i could machine the tops off (if its feesable strength wise) whats the general rule of thumb regarding comp ratios for multivalves can they take a bit more than 2 valvers on a pickup I built, we machined a square into the top in an oval...

Not quite gonna do it over winter, but had to post cuz I'm so excited about it. Gonna get rid of the lil m42 and go w/ an m30 hopefully early next summer, then possibly 5 stud swap as well during the summer sometime.

yep, I'm runnin a sterling silver '91 318is, but hopefully gonna have an m30 swapped in, in the near future, but I'm all the way on the west coast of the U.S.
