Heh, i got the same problem, its not on all the time only when i bring my foot off the pedal gently or eh, hit a bump :) . just been on eurocarparts.co.uk, they say REPLACEMEN PLASTIC BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH, MOST MODELS 87- 2, PIN TYPE, Ԛ£4.49 think i'll try a new one 92 Touring.....only piddly 316...

Sorted me out with a complete 316i exhaust (cat/backbox) for free, genuine, top man, happy to chat and help. Hope to see that very nice motor at the next scotland meet, your grub's on me. Cheers.

Me and the hyperactive kid enjoyed the run to Luss. I need a cage for my car, not a roll cage just a cage for the boy. Thats the first run ive had in the car since owning it (had to fix various bits), reckon a new exhaust to get rid of the mettalic rubbing noise and it'll be running sweet. Definitel...

I bought an old tatty 92, 316 tourer 8 days ago, small hole in front right N/S wing, dodgy front wheel bearing, exhaust hanging off at back, central locking not working, speedo not working. Cheers guys, couldnt believe it, the noise from the back end was down to the big 30mm nut being loose. Horsed it up sounds cool now. now going to have a look at the central locking and speedo.

just chucking this in here, i aint got a clue about fuel injection, but on a bike if you change the exhaust and filter, you put in bigger carb jets to supply more fuel, you need something.

Thanks guys, coudnt find any articles for them bits. and the best people to ask, are the people who know.
I think i'm going to like this car, i have to say though i'm a bit embarrassed driving it around just now, it says 325i on the tailgate, and its only a wee 16.
