Re: Sport prices going up

This looks worth a look for anybody on the hunt for a Sport. Appears not to have sold at Auction today. Looks genuine in the write up and pictures. Is there a different story close up? Website suggests £20,250 buys https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/events/2021-auctions/the-practical-classics-clas...

Pair of Genuine(?) Rear Side Panels @ Auction this weekend

To be clear this item or Auction is nothing to do with me, I don’t know if they are really genuine, simply spotted these in an auction catalogue and thought they could be useful for a Zoner. Yes NLA sadly
It’s a shame nobody has taken on the task of making these yet.
I also wish I had purchased a set a couple of years ago when I had the chance!

Free - M20 Exhaust System, custom, part stainless

Now Free - Here is the Exhaust system from my 1990 325 I removed from my car as not OEM and too noisy for my liking, sounds good when on the throttle but a tad boy racer about town. Manufacturer unknown. Selling as spares or repair as does need a couple of small holes in the welds filling and possib...

Re: Intermittent heavy shaking

Can’t help thinking this could be the centre prop shaft bearing/mount. I remember similar symptoms on my 318 some years back.
Hopefully one of the experts will be along shortly to give some thoughts on this, in the meantime I’d give the propshaft a wiggle and see if the mount is kapot!

Bonnet looking great. I hadn’t realised I was missing a timing belt sticker in this location, I shall be ordering myself one!
Looking forward to seeing more engine bay, good luck and keep up the great work.

Re: The evolution of ‘Errol’ the 325i Cabriolet

Nice to see pics of the OEM exhaust, I’d like to replace mine with one but it’s quite an outlay eh,
I note like mine your car is a late 325 and the new system appears to be a 3 piece, does this mean BMW no longer supply the 2 piece?

I think keep it grey paint.

Option Code 0485

Hi, can anyone help me identify the description for option code 0485, can’t seem to see it on any of the standard lists.

Hoping it’s Recaro LS front seats only (standard rear seat) as these are fitted but would like to confirm these should be in the car.

Thanks

The white pieces at the top of the bonnet look new, where did you buy them from and do you know their part numbers? One of mine is leaking and needs replacing alongwith the smaller white connector at the back of the headlights on the drivers side. Sorry just seen this... part is available from BMW ...

Cheers for these pics they help. Looks like yours has t-pieces too so maybe they are correct after all. Mine is also a 1990. If you can post another couple of pics one showing wider angle and another with the other t piece
Thanks

Headlamp washer pipework routing

Please can someone share a picture with me the correct routing of the pipes and t pieces under the bonnet. I haven’t changed it shortened the pipes but can’t get all the t- pieces in without the pipes folding up. I have a grey clip and 1x t-piece that are not shown in pic.

Cheers

Ah yes I see it now, in hindsight I should have removed the cluster rather than work from the footwell! The bulb and holder are missing from the brake lining light will get that replaced. That’s great thanks for confirming. The Lamp lights with ignition and goes off after engine started. I guess this suggests a working ABS but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t work. The ABS lamp holder pushes into a hole in the back of the instrument cluster, and is connected to wires which are part of the ABS loom. Thanks for the picture, hope it all goes well. I'm hoping mine is not going to need quite so much work but until the bodykit is off I won't know the extent of my work.
I am putting mine on the road next week and shall take it over soon to see what they think, I will look out for your car!
