The live wire that plugs into the fuel pump is damaged. i havent checked yet as to whether or not its still getting power but i will do tomorrow. i have been busy today. So just to confirm the fuel pump wiring is part of the large square block connector and loom under the rear bench (drivers side).I...

am i right in thinking the wire for the fuel tank is under the rear bench in the loom that goes through the rubberbung to the left of the fuel pump. goes under the car and back in through the hole at the top of the pump?? if that makes any sense? rather than feed it under the car couldnt i just run ...

the pumps wire is fine its the wire that plugs into it thats molten.

Where does the wiring for the rear of the car run??? is it under the car?

it used to be that if i replaced the pump it would start. this is my 3rd or 4th pump this year 1st new one. when they were on their way out i could tap them to get them started is this likely to be a wirig issue???

I have changed the fuse i have changed the relay and i have a brand new fuel pump just installed? still wont start. the fuel pump isnt kicking in when i turn it over.one of the wires has molten plastic on it howeasy is this to replace or bypass???

why has everyone got this problem about the roof? i dont drive with the intention of crashing and rolling my car??? and as everybody who seems to be getting one is after a roll cage aswell surely that more than makes up for any structural issues? i'd guess that a car with no roof but had a cage was ...

yes! i sometimes have to tap them to get them started.

No i rarely let the fuel level get too low as with old cars i never trust the reading on the guage fully. Maybe i'll just have to fork out for a new pump.

but they all last less than a few months this current one hasnt lasted 2 months

all my pumps have been from the breakers

arent they me sunflower wheels? im thinking of doing a 5 stud con cos i just cant find wheels i like.

Can anybody suggest a nice set of wheels for an e30??? im trying to hunt the web for decent wheels but keep coming up with alpina's and bbs's? I thought all early golf (mk1 and 2) wheels would fit e 30's and those guys have loads of different things goin on.

a man called will at geoff steel racing was willing to do me one i never mentioned bulk buying etc but he was definately willing to do it.

just wanna give this a bump i was looking at getting a carbon roof from geoff steel racing as a one off they were lookin for £2500 all in? so why hasnt this happend yet im definately interested and would be well up for it at 500 thats a bargain. can we try get this going again????

yes its discs all round, so its definately 6lines i need?

the cars not currently driveable so is there something i would have on the car that would tell me if it was abs or not??? i have a 318is and wanna get new brake lines.

even if some1 could pop their sunroof switch out take the back off the plug(not the switch) and post a pic it would be a huge help????? i only wanna see what wire go's into what hole? if you dont know but have a sunroof please help

can any1 tell me what numbers the wires go into in a sunroof plug/switch? where the switch plugs in there is a plug.... i have the 2 green wires, 2 brown wires and a black cable(5 in total) but i havent got a clue what hole each slots into? the holes are numbered.
