Hey guys just to let you know, i popped into my local bmw garage with my V5 and they cut me a new key
They cahrged me £11.75 which i thought wern't to bad. Cheers for the advice guys

Idle Problem!
Hey guys, my car has recently started to have a problem when it's idle. It seems to be when the engine is cold. When I start it in the morning the revs move between 900rpm (where it will sit nicely) to about 500rpm or below an then it sometimes cuts out! Also sometimes you can hear a squeaking noise...

Its all working again lol i cleaned the ecu a lil bit connected it all back together and its working! would that mean that its the ecu? or was it just a coinsidense that it startd working again? thanks 4 all your help brian:)

I've managed to open my fuel cap but is there anyway i can get my passanger door open? It is really annoyin because my passangers have 2 climb ova my seat at the moment:x is there anything i can try to open the door?

Well my horn and sound system is still working so does that rule out the fuse? well i have the day off work 2moz so ill have a bit of a fiddle with it:) any other suggestions?

Hey guys, just got my car back on the road and everything has bin awsome with the car but now the central locking has packed in! Anything i can do to find out the problem? It doesnt lock from the boot anymore so its not just the drivers door.

ive tried removing the fuses with the multimeter attatched to the battery but everything seemed ok. ive had an auot-electrician out a while ago and he couldnt find anything wrong either guess im just gonna have to keep removin the negative cable from the battery if i leave the car for a couple of da...

hey guys i have a problem with my battery dying if i leave the car for about 4 days.
my indicators,wind screen wipers n radio all work wen there is no keys in the ignition is that normal?

Well when i bought the car the guy said it was a recently new battery. I havnt chaked the date on it but it does look new. It's been charging for about 24 hours now and the battery charger's meter says the power has gone down. Im going to buy a new battery today. Hopefully that should sort it out! T...

Thanks 4 the help guys i found the release mechanism put the screwdriver in twisted n the bonnet popped open

ive tried putting a screwdriver there but it seems 2 do nothing. the catch seems to be in the center of the grill, ive been under the car and i can see the release cable ive tried to pull it but there is only so much i can pull. any other suggestions?

The other day i was opening the bonnet and the bonnet release cable snapped! Does anybody know how i can open the bonnet so i can replace the cable? Can i just go underneath the car and find the bonnet release catch and release it with my hands or is there another way Thanks
