I'm going to be spraying my m tech 1 front spoiler soon and was planning on using rattle cans from the stealer, does anyone have an idea of how many cans I'll need for the job? I have one, it has a fuel injected m10. It is labeled 316i. Don't know if this model made it to the UK market, but it did on the dutch and german.

i just recently did mine. you can order a set which includes base color and clear straight from the dealer. they're 150ml cans and to paint two mirrors you need 4 of them. this is how i did it: first i took the glass, motor and wires out sanded with p600 degreased hit the plastic mirror housing with...

my rear arches show some bubbles. there were two buckets of dirt trapped behind them. cleaned and painted with hammerite. 2 spots in the doorsills with some slight bubbling around them, which i have yet to take care of. otherwise it's pretty much rust-free

ive been considering these wheels... are they heavier then bottlecaps/basketweaves?

isnt the biggest advantage of the m52 the less weight of the alloy block? i would definately go with an m52.

i agree that it needs to be cut out. but i think the hole is small enough to fill it with some glass fibre stuff. anyway, make sure you absolutely completely remove all of the rust, and that the surface youre working on is 100% clean.

that car is perfect. i like every single thing about it. in fact, i'm jealous.

forgot to mention it's an 88 316i with injection m10 engine

My car shakes when I let go off the gas particulary in 2nd gear. Any ideas on what might be causing it? I know the mid section of my exhaust is rusty to the point where i can hear it whistle, and the heatshield under my spark plugs has a hole in it. Could any of this be the cause?
