Check your Fuel pump wires at the rear, they could be dirty or loose. Also check the coil as well for loose wires. Sounds like a fuel problem, (Possible Fuel pump relay/ swap it and see if it does the same thing.) may be on its way out.... ??? Does it happen at other speeds???? Check HT leads and Sp...

This would be suffienient, It all depends on how confident you are at pulling things apart.

Engine wise,i think there pretty strong (even with very high miles........i've seen one with 200k and it was still good) you need to know how it's been looked after in the past ,so delve down in it's past history and check it's maintainance records,coolant changes are a must and watch out for a cra...

It's a dash out job. The fan motor sits on top looking from the bulk head, But the entire heater system has to come out the change the matrix.

I also a good point to clean out the 10 to 20 years of dust in the vent system also.
