Hi Guys,
My iS is a non-cat version, and I currently have a powerflow full system on it, which is too loud and the centre silencers scrap when I go over bumps!
How much will it cost for the either the original or pattern centre section of the exhuast system for it!
Thanks

320i vs 318iS
Hi, Selling my 318iS to buy a 320i SE, because I drove one and loved the 6 cylinder sound! What I be selling my 318 for the wrong reasons? Is the 320 just as reliable as a day to day run about? I know it will cost more on fuel but they go so well and so smooth. What do I need to look out for when bu...

Hi, BMW did not start one day, even when key turned all the way. I kept on trying and held the key in the most turned position, then noticed smoke coming out of the barrell!! Hi, Got a Non-Cat 318iS and need a full system replacement. Can someone please explain how many parts make up this system and how much a full standard system costs, and a full stainless sports system costs? Hi, recently bought a 1990/G reg 318iS, and am finding it quite juicy. On a full tank (£47), it just about manged 230 miles! Is this normal, because compared to my previous H-reg model, its quite bad. It has the 16" alpina's on it, this can't be the cause can it? Also could there be a problem with...

m20 325i timing
Hi,
I'm aware the 325i engines (m20) use a cambelt, but i've recently heard very late registered 1991 models used a timing chain instead of the cambelt.
Is this true or a myth?
Cheers

However, ive heard tht an M42 chip isn't tht straight forward, bcoz BMW used 3 diff types of ecu's when developing the car, so the chips are very specific, and all these manufacturers maki...

my uncle who is a bmw specialist used eibach 30mm lowering springs, but he also used koni adjustable dampers on his iS. the ride is transformed for the better! if you put on just the springs you won't be happy at all, bcos u need a good set of uprated dampers to work together with your new springs.....

Yeah mate your rite....I just sold my silver 318is today, the new owner has taken it to ireland. I miss it already!
He was well impressed with it!
Make sure you get 1 that is bog standard with good history and all the MOT's, which will help to verify the mileage.
