E30 Zone

my sport has a oil leak from the sump. took to a bmw garage and they have said it is the sump gasket. to change this i will need to lift the engine.for them to do it will cost me around 150 pound labour just for a 10 pound gasket.does any one no a other way with out lifting the engine.....

ime geting alot of shakeing from the steerinf wheel at diffrent speeds between 50-65 it shakes 65-80 nothin 80-100 some shaken get to 120 and its mint. any ideas what this could be.i drive a 325isport with alpinas on(bk)

hi just looked again at the oil i brought and its 15-40 does it have to be 10-40 or is 15 ok

i have just brought some castrol gtx 15w-30 high milige for my 325sport as it has done 19000 will these be ok to use.....

cheers for that do you no how the valance comes of as well.and are they all the same as ime trying to take it of a 318i for a 325i sport..

ye there is two bolts but they are just turning are there nuts on the other side of the bumper that you have to hold at the same time...

went to the scrappy to day to remove a front bumper so i could have the valance.could not get the bumper of.any one no how to get the bumper and the valance of.are all e30 valance the same....

was it easy to change.i have to change mine on my 325sport this weekend got any tips.drivers side

hi went to scrap yard to day and there is a 320 in there looked for the resistor and saw it straight away.but still cant find on my sport are they in a diffrent place on the sport....

think i found it to day seems to be a little split in one of the water pipes were the hoesclip is on the water pump.will get a new one and hope for the best cheerse for your help.......

started 1s every 2 monthes now 1s every2-3 weeks

the gauge goes up to half way then if you give it some it will go to the third line. then if i put heaters on it drops back down to half.not really had a good look wile its running if it is the pump will it come out fast or just drip....

sorry mate just seen one going around with them on..yr the heaters get hot just as fast.....what is a HGF....as the head was done 20.000 ago and there no other sign of mayo the oil level fine....

and then should i see it or is it at the back .should it be easy to reach.should it just be lose in there or is it fixed to anythink...

only smoke ime getting is on these cold mornings.does it have crome arches.dont fill it to the top but car does get hot really fast.....

still cant find the f**cking thing doing my head in may be its time to get a garage to do it...do you have to remove anythink to get to it...

checked oil dip stick no mayo.if i get it pressure tested will this tell me if there is a leake.as i might of missed it or may be it only leaks when driveing it......

hi my325i sport seems to be useing a lot of water cant see a leak.any ideas

removed the plastic panel so i could see right threw to the back of the stereo and still cant see were it goes.....help

i have a 325isport and the heaters are only working on 4 i have been told its the resistor have brought one and don't no how to fit it can any one help

i have owned a lot of e30 325i and every one i have had has had a 2.5 stamped on the engine i brought a 325i sport 2 monthes ago and noticed it dont have the stamp on the engine is this right.as it does go like a 2.5 and has all the exstras and states it on the logbook.can any one help......

hi mate iv just brought a 325i sport myself. the same year only red. just wondering if yours has 2.5 stamped anywhere on the engine as i have owned alot of 325 standards and they always have had it stamped but i cant see one on this sport... definately goes like one just cant understand why there is...
