I don't know if its the norm but my doctor had nothing to do with mine. The insurance company insisted i go to a specialist of their chosing which i did and his report is what they base their payment (if any) on. It does seem a bit of a racket. It seems great when you win a claim but it all adds up...

I'd be terrified of the car being nicked. I'd prefer it if you could take it out with you like a laptop.

What would the insurance company think of it? would they add it to the value of the car?

You need to watch out for the scum who slam on the brakes to get a fraudulent claim in. Happens a lot in north London (esp on the A10)

If the doctors weren't so keen to give the ok then this wouldn't happen.

Also it's a good reason to keep a reasonable distance from the car in front.

Paint it red and white if your polish

Paint it dark on the bottom and slightly lighter on top and it will look like your car is melting!

Pressure needs to be brought on the government to do something about uninsured drivers.

It isn't as though this is difficult. It's just that without some extra government funds the police have better things to do. Like stopping stupid children offing each other.

I must admit the 'old romany types' do seem to be in a small minority.

In fact I have only met one. And he lived in a house but still saw himself as a romany gypsy.

As does Freddy Eastwood to ex Southend Utd striker.

I am sure everybody would agree that there are gypsies who are honest law abiding citizens e.g old romany types that have carried on the same way of life for generations. BUT we also all agree that lots of the travellers/pikeys are a total nightmare. I once had to run for my life when one of them th...

The M40 engine does get a lot of stick but it's not sluggish. E30 owners rise above such trivia as statistics. We revel in the sheer class of the thing and the joy of owing a genuine classic. (Dambusters theme starts)

Maybe installing an old person will neutralise the smell? You need to find out whether the old person has a positive smell or a nagative smell and install the correct one. Maybe a vomitting baby will get rid of it? :? Or you could try Fabreze BUT surely the 80's cool of the E30 requires a bit of 'Sh...

You could buy a knackered car for £50, spend £9000 doing it up and then you would have saved yourself £50. :D

I thank you.
