You can adjust the way the roof sits above the windscreen with shims where it is bolted to the car (Below the horseshoe), the originals are square shaped with the corners cut off (the ones on mine have holes and some are c-shaped about 1-2mm thick). However you could use anything similar like washers

Try this it is made by Seimens it looks good in any E30 or E36, it even works with the dashboard lights £30 fleabay, and you can also by a dedicated adaptor for an ipod £40 fully controlled through the headunit

Does anyone know if the Rear Window on a hardtop, is the same size as the Rear Window on a coupe????? I also have a cab, there is a guy on ebay sells boge/sachs springs £69 + p&p. These will drop 20mm [4cyl] or 25mm [6cyl] (A cabby sits lower anyway because of the extra weight) and will NOT effect suspension dynamics but gives a much firmer ride. Right I want to put an (is) engine in an E30 cabby, I just want check if the (is) engine from an E36 is identical to the (is) from an E30.
From what I can find out the manifold was changed and that's it!!!

Adjusting Cab Roof
Hi, I bought a roof off another member. The roof is in great nick! but the seal does not meet the horseshoe cover at the rear. I have moved the steels shim plates in different ratios :? Is there any other way to adjust the roof? I notice there is to adjustable allen bolts on the frame at either side...

Is anybody in the know about these seats, I'm a bit of a shortie, so I have the seat raised but every time I get into my car, the drivers seat slumps back down.
If I stay in the seat and raise it, it's ok......unless the lead foot hits the pedal
