Re: My beloved BMW E30 cab stolen on wednesday night

They are just low life scum. I will never give up looking for it or parts. I built that car myself so I know ever inch of it. I've always been into my classic cars but after this it just makes you feel it's not worth the hassle enjoying them because w@nkstains like this want to ruin that for you. I ...

My beloved BMW E30 cab stolen on wednesday night

Hi all, I was sickened this morning to wake up and realise some useless scum piece of sh*t had stolen my E30 cab that I've own for 17 years off my driveway during the night. These tw@ts would hate it to happen to them but more than happy to wreck other peoples lives. After speaking to my neighbours ...

BMW E30 MS DIYPNP KIT

Who on here has built their own kit? I'm nearly done with it just a bit confusing as to what to do with the last few pins on the board. OP+, OP-, VR2, IAC. Re: SC'd M52 ECU options

I just bit the bullet and bought a megasquirt diypnp kit for my e30 m30 cab. I've fitted a eaton m112 charger on my e30 and wanted full control over the tuning and the MS units for the money seem the way to go You can buy the ecu pre built but I'm on a budget so bought the build your own kit. Ok, I see
That's all I wanted to know really. I was just unsure if it needed the controller or if it could run the sensor on its own.

that's what I'm on about using is a wide band sensor. I just wanted to see what other people are using.
The innovate kit seems to be the popular one but they are around £140 and a normal wide band o2 sensor is £50

M30 Megasquirt wide band lambda

Hi All, Decided to get rid of my unichip as I can't find anyone to tune it or purchase the software and go for a megasquirt diy kit. Question is, can a normal wide band o2 sensor be used? As I'm trying to keep the cost down at the minute and all I've been reading is people like to use the innovate l...

I already have a unichip on mine. I had it installed about 4 years ago so that would just need a tweak. I've found an option for the MAF. http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1228729-Make-your-own-MAF-conversion-for-under-50-I-did-it Does anyone know where I can get hold of the unichip t...

Re: AFM to MAF upgrade on the M30

Yeah its for my supercharged 3.5
I'm already running a unichip so will be able to fiddle with that to get it to run properly with a maf.
Got mine running now so really want to get rid of the dodgy old afm and go for something more free flowing and less restrictive

AFM to MAF upgrade on the M30

Hi All, Just looking around the net to see what MAFs people are using. I know you can buy the miller setup but to be honest its over priced for what it is and I'm running a unichip on my setup so that can just be tweaked. Has anyone on here used any MAFs from other models and wired them up? I'll loo...

My cab is pre facelift and I made some mounts, cut a section out of the front panel for it and it fits perfect. Thats cool, i want to stick with my original rad anyway as i got it new and i've been running it around a few years now and its been spot on. May go to my local breakers tomorrow so i'll see if i can find a thinner rad that i can make work. Doing some bits on it tomorrow so...

Re: e28 oil filter housing spring??

No picture, its at home.
It just came with the housing slid over the long bolt that holds the canister on.
Fitted a new filter and if the spring goes back over the bolt like it was but it seems pointless as it just slides up and down the long bolt.
Just thought it must have a purpose

Alright chaps
In the middle of fitting a eaton m112 charger to my m30 cab.
Got it all mounted, just run into a problem with the filter housing, being with the charger bolted in, there's no space for it.
Is there any filter housings on other m30'd cars that will work??
