Can anyone suggest a brake upgrade that will not brake the bank, (pun intended) I was thinking maybe uprated callipers, but I am open to suggestions, I just want a bit better performance out of them.

Yeah, my drivers side rubber looks like the bolt is slipping through the rubber to towards the centre of the engine, this may have forced the passenger side alloy mount to begin to crack.

P.s. for anyone who has problems with tension straps not being tense enough and not folding your hood properly.... there is a product available called Velstretch that alot of yanks use, its basically elastecated velcro and it looks alot like the straps themselves. Yea thanks, I just remembered about that guy, barwell industrial estate if memory serves. The folding seems (seems) to be okay. When its in the cavity its like one side of the frame rubs on the side of the cavity but the other goes in fine....
