Its abit of boring update but an update non the less. I removed the banded steels because they were leaking air.. A tiny bit of work on the rear arches... but then i gave up doing more and just took the 5mm spacers off which sloved the scrubbing

Cheers Kemix.. Its on G-max shocks all round but they are past their best and haven't handled the chop to well lol.. whats yours lowered on? The plates came on the car... but im guessing they are uk font pressed plates from dubmeister.. These ones are not legal as they have no stamps or postcode etc...

They are not quite tucked yet harry... but lets just say i drive round with my arse cheeks clenched lol I set the BM up for the snow on Monday. It turned up yesterday but by the time it came to going skidding in it.. it was all ice but its snowing (ish) now so fingers crossed for tonight I fitted so...

Ive got 15" VW G60 steels banded to 8" on my E30
When i have my 5mm spacers on the rear it rubs a touch even with minor arch rolling.. you might be able to push 9's on a full rolled/flared arch
But im using 195/45's.. might be able to go wider using a skinner tyre also

Thanks man.. This is my real love :o: It did have 1.8 8V GTi engine but ive just taken that out to fit a.... 1300cc Mk1 Golf driver engine lol... It lets me get mega low and paves way for a headache from G40 Turbo engine at the end of next show season... Its only on cheapo coilovers and has the orig...

195/45/15 Why thank you sir.... I like the mix of e30's on here... Track, drift, oem, council, sleepers and the odd few stanced ones winkeye I like a well stanced car, have done for years even before it became mainstream... It might go more track based after winter tho This is my other car thats off...

Im not happy to hear how low the RPM sump guard sits... But thanks you have saved me buying one now.. I will just have to keep my eyes peeled for an OEM guard Mines on "trimmed" 60mm springs, apex shocks and 45 profile tyres... which forces me to drive very carefully indeed :eek: .. foolish maybe bu...

Im not sure what the LSD on my M42 is from.. but it goes sideways in first gear, non of my older open diff E30's would ever do that I went out my way to buy a car with an LSD because the volvo 340 16V i had with a welded diff was horrid to drive unless it was going sideways... If its an all out drif...

Ouch!! that much... forgive me im northern.. I just see it as having a cure that would cost me nothing.. I was just going to wire the fan to a switch as im used to driving oldish cars and keeping an eye on temps.. long term plans would be to fit a thermo triggered switch before summer What triggers ...

The fan comes on everytime i start the car from cold but it stops (well the noise goes away) after a couple minutes of driving.. Ive had no problems with over heating.. The standard fan on my M42 is rather loud.. Ive got a spare electric slim line fan i was thinking of fitting

Few updates... New rims and standard splitter fitted... G60 8x15 banded steels... I was worried they might have to much poke but i very pleased with the results, they should tuck nicely.. Im going to buy a sump guard off ebay today and once its fitted i will give the springs a trim winkeye http://i6...

I removed a richbrook gearknob and thought i would fit the Mk1 Golf gearknob out my old caddy... it is abit on the large size tho :mad: The wheels are 14x7J OZ Routes.. They came off my mates VW caddy, they are a bit battered up close but still polish up ok and are fitted with drift spec tyres winke...
