Hi,
I need to get a middle box for a 3 piece system on a 325i. Just wondering if anyone knows where to get an Eberspacher or another OEM quality one?
Thanks

Re: Rev counter wiring
Checked for insulation. Ran a wire from ECU to cluster direct just to be sure but no joy. Stumped.

Re: Rev counter wiring
Just tried an ECU from another car & it didn't sort the problem. Is there anything else that could be tried?

Yeah tried the other cars clocks in my car & the rev counter wouldn't work. Would the ECU be at fault?

Re: Rev counter wiring
Ok, I have continuity between pin 6 on the ecu & pin 7 on the blue plug that goes to the cluster. Is there anything else that could be causing this? Clocks worked perfect on another car yesterday.

Hi, I have narrowed down my non working tacho to the wiring. I have read that the connection on the c101 plug may cause a problem. All I have done is wiggled it & disconnected it a few times. The pins all look fine. Is there any way of testing it? Also could there be a fault in the ECU or is there a...

Re:
No, checked both plugs & they're in properly. Both the Obc & tacho went at the same time & the speedo went a bit wonky today dropping down to zero & back again. Changed the SI board because the mpg gauge stopped working but it didn't sort it. Was just wondering if there was a simple solution. Thinki...

Re: Do E30's sit higher on one side?
Springs are fine & fairly new genuine bmw mtech ones. Rear bushes have just been done. Its just about 5-10mm higher on passenger side (Its RHD) All the suspension bits in the car have been replaced in the last year or 2. Dunno what could be causing it so was just wondering if they are supposed to be...

Hi,
Sometimes the tacho & the light illuminating it stops working. A tap to the cluster and both the tacho & light work again. Any ideas on the problem?
Thanks.

MPG & SI Board Problem
Hi, My mpg gauge shows 0 when accelerator is pressed then swings to 50 mpg when depressed i.e. doesn't stay anywhere in the middle and the SI Board doesn't light up. After 1 - 2 hours driving the si lights flash a couple of times & then both work perfectly. The batteries on the SI Board are the lith...

Valve clearances on a 2.7
Hi,
What are the specs for the valves on a 2.7 conversion? Standard cam. I just found a note from the guy who built it saying .10mm intake & .15mm exhaust. Are these correct as I know standard is .25mm?
Thanks

Hi,
Has anyone here installed these on their e30 to lower the front a bit? Was there any problems or issues? I was thinking about using them on Mtech springs.
Thanks

Hi,
Has anyone sealed off the sunroof in an e30 to prevent water water leaking into the cabin due to rusty sunroof drains? If so what did you do?
Thanks.

Bleeding brakes question
Hi,
Trying to bleed brakes on a 325 using an eezibleed. When I turn the bleed nipples on 3 calipers I only get fluid dribbling out, but when I open the nipple on front left wheel I get a stady flow of fluid. Any ideas what the problem is?
Thanks.
