An m30 engined e30 with budget tyres on in the wet with a 3.73 LSD fitted, now that is a handfull, rear tyres spinning up in 3rd without even trying :eek: Those shitty tyres didn't stay on the car for long! It's all part of road safety, if you can control your car in an emergency with budget tires,...

thats E30's with a 2.5i for ya, guessing you got a LSD aswell? just finished building my 325 and got it all legal on weekend, so after couple runs i'm happy with it just need couple things to finish it off, anyway first time in rain today and oofft its a bit sketchy in the wet, i'm no stranger to a bit sliding fun with my e34's but this thing just steps out on...

then you're best starting from the ground up, rather than finding you have to replace or find that things you buy now, will be unsuitable in the future.. Adjustable beam, possible coilover setup etc.

depends what the goal is, whether you should aim for a completely adjustable track oriented setup, or whether you just want to upgrade the oem with much better dampers / springs and ARB's

the gutter trim most people will have, but the 'ears' around the c pillar (if that's what you mean) have chrome sections attached to the plastic trim which is colour coded, plus the coupe and 4 door ears are different shapes..

depends what tire sizes you're going with, but 3.91 will be a better option on track, maybe 3.73, you can change the gearbox for the later e36 type and that will allow you to run 3.15 diffs etc you can go mental with tuning the m42, charge it, simple stuff, just depends which direction you feel you ...

@ the OP - a lot of this will be down to the fact it's just a very long steering ratio, but the e30 should really feel taught and pointy.. I went to Gaydon today .... I thought it was the BMW Car Club show .... It wasn't .... Turns out * I tried to use text speak but the text speak filter stopped me * was the Rover P6 Club , Austin Club day and all these British cars .... No where near the number of cars and people as a BMW would brin...

I thought due to the relative small capacity when these things reach high speeds an appropriately shaped duct would be pressurising the air sufficiently.. however these things would probably surpass the figures pretty quickly becuse they rev to 16k fairly quickly..
