never serviced a car before so chances are unless anyone around my area is up for it
i be takin it to a garage. thought about using the injector cleaner stuff too, is there anything else worth puttin in apart from the usual service stuff?

untill recently i had 3 green lights when i turned the key in ignition, now i only have 2. is there a way of working out when it goes down to the last? dont wanna service it just yet but dont want it hitting the yellow/red light either!

what made me choose an E30 over an E36 is the difference in price for parts, things for E30 are relativaly cheaper than E36 BUT that dont mean people should take the piss as you mentioned before.... way i see it, if something breaks or needs replacing id rather spend 50 quid on a new part than 70 qu...

in last months mag someone made a sub housing and aimed 2 subs at a 45" angle thru the rear arm rest so when thats folded down the bass comes thru.... ive thought of the 6x9 holes but debating how shit 6x9's in boxes on the parcel shelf would look

ok ive only had it a week (320i) but have found out unless i drive around at 3000+ revs its not as nippy as i thought it would be. am i expecting too much?
lovely car to drive etc but thought it would have a bit more 'oooomph'.

best quotes i got for my 320i were from confused.com and ive spent a good amount of time shopping around! i was using classic insurance for my minis and it was dirt cheap but when i tried to change it over to the bmw it was silly money, ive had quotes half the price off confused.com for 'normal' ins...

my fogs dont work, no power to the switch. cant find the fuse box picture thingy that shows which fuse works for what, does anyone know what number in the box is for the fogs?? ive checked all that are in there and theyre all ok, thought this be the first place to check

for a service i understand a BMW is better but for an mot what would you recommend? if they both look for the same thing does it make a difference or does it just look better on paper if its by bmw?

ok i cant compare it to a 318 or 325 as ive never been in one BUT i think the 320 is GREAT!! its a lovely drive but havent given it any boot yet, saving that for tomorrow

had same kind of problem with the other halfs astra, that was an electrical fault believe it or not we went thru 3 starter motors in 6 months cos we didnt realise the starter was just sitting out a bit when it shouldve gone back in and eventually went. was quite fun one time on the M4 when it happen...

its not the head tho is it, its the rockers that sit under the head (on a mini at least all you do is take the head off an theyre there!) then use a feeler gauge to set the gaps

plastic bumpers. everything else seemed ok, usual torn drivers seat and a bit of rust under the rear wheel arch but nothing special that a rub down wouldnt fix oh and on the E reg note, it was originally an F but someone put a private plate and had it changed back and it came back as an E. have seen...

oh i wasnt planning on doing springs to be honest, at least not for a while and even then it would just be for looks more than anything. havent bought a bmw yet, hopin to pick up the 316 on saturday assuming he still has it by then.

have noticed some parts i.e. lowering springs, induction kits etc are advertised for 318/320/325 and the 316's are seperate. why is that? idve thought they were the same, just different size engines
