Re: The bronzit 325i 2dr where is she? F585 PYH
Nice one Simon, I have all the ingredients in stock, including a already lightened flywheel, was it vanos or non vanos crank? Have both and a 2.8 crank as well but prefer the sound of this as it keeps the 135mm rods. What profile cam do you think would suit this build?

Re: The bronzit 325i 2dr where is she? F585 PYH
I'll keep looking, I remember the photos and spiel and some of the spec but not anything useful. Was it along the lines of m50b25 crank, m52b28 rods and m20 slugs? A few Kg rotational mass saving with out machining, bar the flywheel iirc?

I used a drill in a vice to spin the valve and used various light grades of sand paper to polish the valves. This was on old Mini heads so may work on the m20 stuff.

Been asked by a friend to check out a couple of E46 M3s for him. Anyone got any serious advice or links to decent buyers guides? You could also use the bigger, stronger M20 325i box (also found in the 12v E34 525i) and that means a shorter prop. Trouble is, the props you'll be using (E28 525i and 528i) normally have the big M30 prop donut that won't fit the 325i output flange. I had this issue converting a 525e from auto to ...

Possibly damaged the rear shoe mounting pins by ripping them of the back plates or just moved the shoes so that they are binding a bit. Is it rear drums or discs?

Was Alex/Turbo-Brown not looking in to chain driven m20 for his twin turbo build? It may have been just the dry sump oil pump drive but may be worth a read.

Would a brace between the base of the main hoop to the rear arch/harness bar area be beneficial or over kill? Like wise a low level brace at the base of the main hoop?

I think it'll depend on the temperature of the thermostat that you fit, we fitted a 80 degree stat and a 80/88 switch to run the twin speed fan.

Chop the pipe, rotate 90 degrees then re-weld will be fine, Should give you a good 10-15mm clearance from the knuckle? Should be plenty of room for movement by the engine on any hard left hand corners.

Dependant on the condition of the rest of the inner arch when you check it fully, I would be tempted to make up the repair panel and cut out the rot, weld it in then seal it up and fire on a new cover. The breathers and pipe work in the area would need to be striped out so may require a fair bit of...

Spigot bearing's?
Just a quick question, i need a new spigot bearing quickly and all i can find stocked is 6002/2rs where as the old one is 6002/2brddc4. It looks like a standard sealed bearing so is the 'rs' just are just how bearings are labeled now?
