Re: WANTED HIGH PERFORMANCE BMW
I heard a rumour that some trade policies did not allow you to have an m3 / sierra cosworth / etc on them, due to the amount being binned a few years back on traders policies. But as you have a traders policy, you probably already know this/or have heard the rumour? correct. you need to have stated...

yes i am going to settle for a bmw e36 3.0 3.2 evos are great but not as reliable as 3.0's and theres not much differance in both cars when being drivin urban. disagree for starters the 3.2's have better steering & better brakes and are noticeably quicker. they use less fuel (both around town and o...

Make sure you get one without the nickasil block (most aren't to be fair IIRC, more an issue for the 325). lots more nikasil blocks than steel liners. tbh its long past the time of worrying about the block, if it hasnt gone now then well it isnt likely too (or if it does go, it probably wont be nik...

With an M52B28 radiator, with the top hose and main bottom hose off (small hose at bottom of rad still connected to engine), and the rad cap off
should the contents of the expansion bottle drain through the main bottom hose or stay in the expansion bottle?

Re: Trolly Jacks: What do you have?
Unless you specifically need the ultra low minimum height and the light weight, then I wouldn't consider this one. It has an extremely limited maximum lift, not very great lifting capacity, and I expect would be easily damaged. The semi professional 2 tonne or 3 tonne jacks will be a much better bu...

as you already note the 2.5 inlet and TB are the best mod, but you will also need to swap the ECU chip to get any real gains, and worth it as it releases as much as 20hp (BM put the small inlet on to keep this engine under 200hp for insurance/emissions reasons IIRC) thats not the case. simply fitti...

didnt the facelift m20's have lower compression and less power, eg more like 160 bhp ? Nope, low comp B25's were 171 bhp as well. A healty one should still be 171, like mine was. i saw a really nice E30 today, badged as an Alpina B3 2.7
it looked fantastic in a dark grey metallic with Alpina wheels, front bib and alpina boot spoiler.
i just wondered, whats the difference between this and a C2 2.7 ?
if no differences then does anyone know why the name change ?
