i doubt u missed anythin KDS, it sounds quiet cause of the puny little amp that the ipod has. gotta remember its really only meant to power headphones. i bet all these ipod speaker docks have amps in em to further boost the volume. i fitted an ipod in my 318 and it sounded really quiet too, the only...

im gettin similar economy to Jos, my m40 now has 170k on the clock and the engine itself runs very quiet, no cam noise at all.(its the ancillaries that are givin me grief!!!!lol)
