Re: Exhaust Fumes in Car when window is open
Yeah, standard exhaust.. will check this when home from work. Also did another thorough search on here for similar problems, apparently boot seal can be a casue of leak due to wind swirl behind the car as it drives.. so will check the rear of car for any small holes tonight too..
Fingers crossed!

Got a bit of an strange one i cant put my finger on with my 325i.. When moving along with the windows or the sunroof open im getting a very strong smell of exhaust fumes in the car.. It seems as though the fumes are being dragged in by the negative pressure in the car with the windows open whilst mo...

Over the last week or so ive cured the steering issues and done a few hundred miles on my new battery... and still have a dodgy idle once warm and now it has even started to stall on me when parking and using full lock... Im possibly thinking it could now be a faulty TPS? anyobody had similar issues...

Re: Headlining removal/replacement
My Headlining is in a right state, someone tried installing a new one and gave up before i bought the car. Depending what model you have it differs but for a coupe like me its a rear window and rear screen out job. i.e. freakin nightmare if you dont know what your doing. I need to replace my rear sc...

Re: power steering pump buggerd
I did this the other week, its pretty simple... if i can do it anyone can  Jack up the car and place on axle stands. Remove Cap on PAS fluid Reservior. Undo Banjos and drain fluid from system (turning wheels several times to empty rack of fluid) Unbolt Pump, remove. Check belt for wear. Replac...

Re: 325i sport on rs rims
Now im not usually a fan of the tech2 kit (prepare to get flamed here) as i prefer the IS look.
But that looks damn nice! The RS's compliment the car very well and looks like a very tidy example of a sport too.

Pump on, fluid, filled, bled, flushed, refilled, bled. Still a bit odd as im only getting about 0.7l out of the system when draining it. :? Took for a test drive.. heavy steering cured so far. guessing my rack is a little suspect though. so maybe time for that long awaited z3 rack shortly. but this ...

Nice one Brian just about to get to work on it. The idle does make sense now you put it like that.. Just the mystery to solve of where the 1l of fluid has dissapeared too and why much didnt come out of the rack once the lines were disconnected and the steering wheel turned. If it is the rack ill def...

It is the standard location for 325i coupe i believe. Helps with balance of the car for handling shifting some of that heavy weight into the rear of the car.
