Hi i recently fitted a m50 inlet manifold to my m52 2.8, right hear goes i modified the m50 manifold to take the m52 icv thing so it fits the same as the m52 one, this worked fine all be it a bit tricky. hey chaps ive done this and its a good mod you only feel the extra vibration at idle. I made mine in my garage and used sickaflex before assembly inbetween the two pucks and the metal disks . its a worthwile mod.

rear axle bushes are these the big ones that are a tw@t to change theres two of them cause ive done them. would trailing arm bushes be a possiblity, re the suspension its hard to tell if it settles cause its lowerd on blistien shocks and springs.

yeah forgot to say they have also been replaced along with new bilistein shocks. also changing the subject do spring wear out caust the car feels a bit boat like at the moment, i thought it could be todo with the hard engine mounts, how can i check if the front shocks are knackerd.

it feels like the wheels are bouncing in first then in second they just spin like fook and it feels smooth, the car also has new rear arm bushes and new rear shocks. allthough it has got hard engine mounts if that could be anythin to do with it.

hi, im not sure if there is no problem but when putting the lsd into action i get a juddering in first then when i change to second it dose what its ment to and snakes up the road and seems a lot smoother whilst spinning, i have a new guibo and diff bush on the car, could it be the propshaft bearing...

A mate of mine let me have a drive of a E30 m3 a couple of months ago and it was a totaly diffrent experience to a 325i, much more touque it seemed smoother maybe not a lot quicker but being a left hooker was it a bit weird but you would get used to that just for the style and handling

hi. i bought a pair of front blistein b6 front shocks from ebay and should they have come with some sort of spring cup. Also when compressing the shocks at the same time one shock goes about 10-15 mm lower than the other this dosent seem right to me but i might be wrong. Any help would be sweet. htt...

Yeah just instaled a 273/273 off ant and its a good cam, coupled with a bbtb i think there is a little bit of touq lost down low, but well worth he pounds. Btw simon did you change the rockers when you did the cam because i kept the original ones and found the a bit more tappety, also did you use a ...

I think my center box is a bit fubared as its sounding a bit hollow and wanted to know if you can repack the exhaust, also does anyone run without this box and how does it sound.

Yeah i did the ring trip when i was 19 and it was fu*cking awsome you will love it, but make sure you listen to these guys and take it easy. I was unlucky and had a fast spin by Kallenhard but lucky for me thers a bit of run off onto the grass, and car was ok.

looks good Oakey have you ever raced any of the m50/m52s, and how do the 200-220 brake cars fair against the likes of civic type r s etc, cause a good mate of mine had a 06 plate clio 18poo and that didnt pull much on my 325i with cam bbtb and unichip at all, which i thought was good.

Cool sounds like there pretty quick then, how do they compare with some of the sorted 2.7 and 2.8s.

So what are these m50/m52s like then.
Well we all know these are a good engine but what are they like in the e30, I mean what sort or cars have you raced since your conversion ect. Whats the 0-60 and more importantly the 0-100 times of these beasts.

yeah thats the one i thought it might be and checked what you said and got a 12v on pin 1, how do you check if the ground is good. i also checked the ground on the steering colum. then i had a look at the brake lights and there was some slight corrosion on the pins. thanks

ha thanks for that, that looks some complicated. Which one is the control unit, i dropped the top of the glove box down and there is a couple of boxes one is similar to the ecu and then there is another smaller box above it. sorry chaps you will have to bare with me im only 20 and still learning abo...

hi so i checked the switchs on the clutch and on the brake pedal they both seemed ok with the multi meater, so has anyone else got any thoughts,could it be the relay and where is this located. thanks
