clutch slipped should i replace

When pulling out of a juction this morning i think my clutch began to slip. Basicially revs shot up acompanied by a clutchy burning smell. Parked up at my house and now it seems fine. Check the fuse under the bonnet, sometimes it the simplest thing :D

Very much a yank thing but why not if your paint work is nice why not keep it that way.
Also with the increasingly poor state of the roads (ceratinly round here) probably a good investment.

If Tec1 wheel prize out centre bmw badge with screw driver or similar and undo bolt.

If Tec2 wheel pull off horn by hand push and undo bolt.

The streering being lock will help as the bolts can a little stiff to undo.

Because it was faulty and i paid for a working battery. @ £70 its enough money that i don't think i should just write it off as crap and buy one from elsewhere!
