C3 quoted (just for the chain) 38.00. Just the other 13 seals, gaskets, pistons, rails and sprockets all come to 300+.

yikes that came in at 370 all in, quoted 475 from garage inc parts so just gonna roll with that me thinks.

I'm gonna get my local garage to replace the chain and rails etc, did tensioner a while back but now noisier than ever she sounds like a tractor now... I think i'm better off sourcing parts myself to save a few measly quid. What parts do i need to get exactly - ie chain, rails, tensioner etc ? ? ? ,...

Clean it off straight away, Cause the longer you leave it the more the acid in the shit burns your paint!!! Witch is what leaves the marks!!

he's (dan) just taken it out for a test. the brakes have been squeeling when braking for a little while, i thought it was just the pads needed doing as sounds like metal on metal, yet if they were changed just 3 months ago this wouldn't make sense would it??
