does any one have the part no. for the T part that connects the selector rod of the gear stick to that of the gearbox just above the out put shaft of the gearbox. as my local bwm dont seem to know what I'm asking for!

Thanks for the info. set them cold, then checked after warm up and they needed resetting to the 0.3mm.
now running perfect (for now).

hi i did read the article but it might sound silly but do you set the clearance of both inlet and exhaust to
the 0.25mm? Its just that this is a strange engine to me as i used to be a 4pot man.

hi my 325i is starting to get a bit of tappet rattle.I wandered down to my local BMW dealer who informed me that it as BMW policy NOT to give out such technical information!
so does any one know the inlet and exhaust settings for my engine?
