Update.
Wheel back on, car driven home, so not as bad as it could of been, dont know all the info yet but Mummy-boo will most probably be on after we've eaten with full story.

Hi all, bit of a funny but very bad thing just happened to Mummy-boos tourer, traveling approx 60 mph the passenger side rear wheel decided it was too good for the car and dissapeared accross a field and into a brook. 316i engine has 318i head, reprofiled cam, bigger throttle body and AFM,
oh yeah, and what about 318i injectors, could they go on a 316i?

he put it on the cog, did the squeezy test, measured it, did the sqeezy test again.
he's gonna take it to the garage tomorrow cos he's now feeling really bad cos it sounds lke he's done something bad.

i dont think he did that. he's now trying to justify not checking it.

just been out in it and the poor thing doesn't seem to like it.
stalled 4 times, smells really bad, starts to really scream at us at around 3000 revs where it used to be around 5000.
can anyone suggest anything that would fix it?? suggestions of things to check would be good too.

ian just changed our 316i cylinder head for a 318i cylinder head.
why do we now squeak??? would this be the reprofiled cam bedding in (oh yeah put one of them in as well!!)
had the same on the sierra (now off to be a turbo with new owners
) it went away after 150 miles.

a little off topic but i think on the kids front there wasn't really a lot. next year i'm gonna be bringing lotsa stuff to keep nichola quiet so i'll volunteer to be zone babysitter if the need is there, just makes adults free to go do adulty stuff with out the kids whining!!! i'll definatley stick ...

we have a 316i thats done 170,000 miles. the tappets are fooked so ian decided to change the cylinder head and get a new cam - which will get fitted once bob s sends it. we started the transaction before we read the whole mess with spadge. we think we might wait til the cam gets here to fit the cyli...

HAD SOME ON, BUT THEN REMOVED THEM COS WE WERE CATCHING ON THEM ALL THE TIME. STILL GOT THEM THOUGH, JUST NOT ON THE CAR.

Not vandalised while we've had it, but now we're sorting the car out it looks like the previous owner REALLY ABUSED it. Huge gauge in the drivers wing, random bolts holding the engine together, exhaust held on by bathroom sealent and looking through the reciepts its had drivers side windows replaced...

went to collect a cylinder head today and came away with an ashtray, speakers, rocker cover studs and a timing case as well! only cost us Ԛ£50 all together.

not sure on the cone filter, but if you like it, fair play ! well we couldn't find a box and the one on the car was buggered beyond repair! so a conie was a quick repair and cheap too, 2 month old GREEN filter for only Ԛ£FREEEEEEE!!! does come with class sounds though sounds like a ikkle piggi...
