Yeah, 'Gunk' degreaser worked nicely on mine (especially the new foam action one - which stinks but is good stuff!) then a good rinse and finally 'polish' them with back to black. Some of my old hoses came up like new! :D I forgot how much that stuff stinks 8O Last time I did my bay I went overboar...

yeah parafin can eat rubber, dont try it! Have you tried GUNK? Worked wonders for me. Failing that treat your self to some samcos baby, mmmm hose porn mmmm
