No but the colour really suits the E30, quite rare in e30 terms as its expensive i suppose to change a colour on a car unless your a car painter for a living :D or got deep pockets , originally a e36 M colour i belive it is.

The answers in the title! :mad: iirc neon is convertable only, plus i mixed the paint and painted it my self, i only sold it because id had it 5 yrs and it was time for a change to something more modern plus it was to low and to small to use as a family car,i now have an alpi...

i sold this car in september 2010 to a guy in birmingham who was going to sell it on, was just wondering if anyone on here ever bought it , and how they were getting on with it?

yeah i understand what your saying and im not one for wanting the attention to be honest, i think i just got used to it in my e30 maybe i just need time to bond with it, ive owned it for a month and only been out in it a hand full of times due to the weather so only managed about 100 miles altogethe...

thanks for the advice , but i dont think i`ll have it long enough for it to go rusty, i just cant get attached to this car like i did with my old e30, although it looks nice its got no soul or character no one really looks at it as it drives past :cry:

cheers fellas, managed to get the other 3 off, gave them all a good clean off around the wheel recess and removed the rubber around the cap cleaned it all out and gave it a smearing of 3 in 1 oil right round and made sure the locking area had plenty of grease and the blooby things fly on and off now...

ive recently bought an alpina b3, and having trouble with removing the center caps of the wheels , the problem is the keys keep snapping or twisting , ive been to a local locksmith who assures me theres not much room for improvement on the lock side of things(as i wanted to try and put the same kind...

Really nice ! sadly it's the gearbox I don't like, a Getrag and a clutch pedal is needed ! :D hopefully it being an auto will stop me driving it like a cu*t and keep it in one piece and not part of a wall or roundabout,although it has got paddle s on the steering for any radged moments i may have lol

i think its the m52 engine as it only has single vanos and i belive the m54 was double

funny how every one panics and complains about the pipes, my biggest problem was the steering linkage fouling the exhaust down pipes and locking the steering up if you went round a left hander to quick as the engine shifts slightly and was catching! i tried removing the edges off the steering knuckl...

i found a write up somewhere so you can use your obc gong , which goes off as you open your door if lights still on , which is what i have done with mine but cant remember how its done.

mine does`nt bong any more since i changed it to bong when i open the door and have left the lights on ,seen as i kept leaving them on :mad: but the the obc still flashes the temp up anyway when it gets low, just like yesterday morning when it was -2 wtf its october.

dont apply it like paint, just apply in a fine mist over the blended area 4,5 or even 6 times if you put it on to heavyit all goes mottley and wont polish in very well

best advice as above by evir........ PRACTICE first

from what i can see from the link below 325 260 boxes have same ratios, i have a 4.10 in my 325 never had any problems with it to be honest but its true what you say about top end it feels like another gear would go nicely, but then i guess your diff would`nt like it very much and go bang maybe. htt...

you'll need a guide coat on the primer to see high and low spots. also don't paint upto your tape line. put the tape further up the panel and let your primer naturally run out. sanding an edge will cause a ripple in the paint later on. You want high build primer and flat that back until it's smooth...

for some reason my wipers have started to play up, they work on the 2nd & 3rd setting fine but get a little jittery on the 1st setting (slow), also the quick wipe setting that works when you click the wiper stalk down only works if you keep it held untill the wipers return to the bottom of the scree...

wow....., thats quality, why is it the europeans seem to be so much better at building cars than us british, i mean they allways seem so enthusiastic and build such crazy cars they make us look so lazy.
