A dodgy (old) back-up battery inside the alarm can cause false triggers. Had a simillar problem with mine, opened the sounder unit, found battery was defunct and had leaked all over the circuit board.

Saris bones rack, pricey new but usually a few on ebay. I use mine on my e30 pretty regularly with no probs. fits over spoiler nicely.

exhaust system for 318is

Hi Zone, I need a new front section or system, manifold back, as my front silencer is rattling to fcuk :cry: I'm in a dilemma whether to go for a standard BMW front section (£260) or get a full stainless system. Such systems for an IS seem to be quite hard to come by tho. Anyone have any suggestio...

Hi Zone:)

Newbie here! I'm after a good service manual for the 318is, heard the bentleys one is good but does it cover m42? Haynes dosen't cover this engine.

any recomendations would be great :)
