Hi, I have an 1989 320se auto that at some stage was converted to 325. I now want to convert it to manual. No its not pumping at all unless the relay is grounded or crossed there is no negative feed from pin 3 of ECU to the relay at any time but if pin 3 at the ecu is supplied with a ground the pump runs.

I had the same problem in the past got a new clutch and when pulled out the gearbox it was soaked in fluid the slave cylinder was leaking clutch was fine

I have a 86 E30 325 sport that will not start and i have it narrowed down to a fuel issue. It was in storage and has not been started in 10 years. I know the colours of the wires that should go to each pin of an E36 plug, but your wires look nothing like the correct colours in your pics. Hi Brian, The plug came from a 1997 e36 318is. It fits perfectly so if I knew which wires from the e30 loom corresponded to the buckets of the plug (photo 1)...

As you look at the sensor on the rad from the drivers side (rhd car) what colour wire goes to the top pin, pin nearest the bulkhead and nearest the front of the car? Did a bit of inquiring this evening and the plug i have is actually off an e36. Still the same only different shape and wires are different colour. Looking into the buckets of the plug, 2 is on the left, 1 is in the middle and 3 is on the right. its just the 3 wires thats going to the waelco seat loom thats different. would you have a pic of the rotation of the wires in your block connector L-R with the clip to the to as im sure they could be matched that way?

Have a basically new lock that was bought to replace the faulty one so just going to strip that and change over the internals!Be nice have everything on the one key again!!!
