I thinking of buying a E36 N reg 325TD. Are they any good? Do you know how it is performance wise and if it is reliable?

An s50b30 would make a better engine for a drift car, or an m50b25, or an m30b35. Little engines running shonky turbo kits will not generally make it very easy due to turbo lack, and the desire to not be abused much. M52B28 would also be a very good option. Thanks alot. I really didn't expect such good answers :D I think I will not need to take my licence again. I know a few Icelandic people who studied in the UK and did not need to do that. Iceland is not in the EU but has a special agreement along with Norway and a few other European country's (EFTA)...

One or two things not already mentioned,I would expect that you will need a UK address to buy insurance.You will need to prove that the car is insured to buy road tax.Be aware that in the UK the vehicle licencing people have vans with camaras that check number plates against a data base for vehicle...

OK, thanks alot for the pointers! How about the cost involved in the transactions? And where do I declare my car SORN and do I go to a DirectLine branch to buy insurance (do they have one in Edinburgh) from them or is it all done through the net? I would never have a white car again......Just because i think theyre to hard to keep clean. That looks the nuts though dimebag and probably one of the best sports on the zone, Looks mint. You can see the dirt better then on dark cars but in my appinion it's much easier to clean than dark cars. I l...
