E30 Zone

I've actually not long received a mail from Kevin confirming the above, so looks like my best option will be to supply a 2.93 and get him to carry out the conversion. Not cheap, but the way ahead I think. I'll just need to see if I can shift the 3.38 at some point, maybe to someone with an auto E46....

I was under the impression that I couldn't put the internals from my Quaife into a 2.93 diff ? I.E, the current internals will only fit a 3.15 or higher. Or have I been mis-informed ? If I can do this, then that changes my plans significantly. I really want to stick with a Quaife now that I've taste...

Chip, Big bore throttle body and a nice aggressive cam. Should perk up the old girl just fine.

Have you considered giving it a good service and adjusting the valve clearences ? This could give the engine a good key for modifications..

Thanks willnz ill try that as well. Cant say ive heard the fuel pump when cranking. Should i hear it prime as in other cars or does this not happen on e30's. Looks very nice ! I have an E39 too, and they are very comfortable, capable cars. Don't think I've ever driven anything as nice as a 5 series.

No idea ! She gets fuel when the fuel gauge says it's empty. Just buy the 2.5. You won't care about economy as you'll be having too much fun.
