Re: How to wire up tail light board to E30 without towbar
How do you intend to mount the bicycle ?
When I fitted my towbar to tow ( no extra socket obvious )My Triumph Gt6 on an A frame the wiring was straight foward as a standard towbar instalation. That was done through the Triumphs taillights.

PUT THE THERMOSTAT BACK IN!!!!!! Removing it means that the coolant only goes around the bypass circuit meaning that the rear 3 cylinders don't get any cooling at all. If you were having cooling problems before this, look at the rad. If it behaves itself at low speed but starts acting up when at sp...

Just a bit of further info re the use grease on gaskets. A few years ago for my sins, I worked on fuel tankers (non petrol). How many leaking joints, pumps, filter housings I saw with all different types of sealing compounds round them I can not count. On every occasion leaks were cured (with the ex...

What grease do you suggest?
Basicly any type of grease, its just to form a wet seal against the faces and as previous post usually allows casket to come away cleanly.

If the disc retaining screw rounds off then you've got a major problem with getting it out. I've had to drill out countless screws. A complete pain. Good effort dude ! I'd avoid going up a size on any stud in the upper portion of the head, the oilways etc are rather close in places. better bet go for a helicoil and stick with M8 dude, safest option And exactly how is a heli-coil done then ? For some reason a lot of cam manufacturers / regrinders do not like to issue these automaticaly (Kent in particular).

To all of you with excess fuel consumption: Take a couple of spark plugs out and check the colour of them. If they are black then you have a fuelling problem. If they are a sort of light brown and clean, then the problem is either a leak or a heavy right foot. (Or you have a 320). And check tyre pr...
