Re: How to wire up tail light board to E30 without towbar

How do you intend to mount the bicycle ?
When I fitted my towbar to tow ( no extra socket obvious )My Triumph Gt6 on an A frame the wiring was straight foward as a standard towbar instalation. That was done through the Triumphs taillights.

PUT THE THERMOSTAT BACK IN!!!!!! Removing it means that the coolant only goes around the bypass circuit meaning that the rear 3 cylinders don't get any cooling at all. If you were having cooling problems before this, look at the rad. If it behaves itself at low speed but starts acting up when at sp...

I dont think any body said anything about you being stupid.
Basicly any type of grease, its just to form a wet seal against the faces and as previous post usually allows casket to come away cleanly.

A smear of grease on both faces of the gasket is all required. This practice means that IN AN EMERGENCY (roadside repairs) gasket should not tear so can be refited ( in an emergency) also means no ugly goo sticking out of gasket edges.

In a word, DONT.
The oil pump uses a VERY FINE (read easily broken) drive.
This item is a hex shaft only aprox 5mm thick and is in the direct part of the drive to your pump.
Wanna see what a broken one can do, NO YOU DONT !

This information and more should be on the cams data sheet.
For some reason a lot of cam manufacturers / regrinders do not like to issue these automaticaly (Kent in particular).

To all of you with excess fuel consumption: Take a couple of spark plugs out and check the colour of them. If they are black then you have a fuelling problem. If they are a sort of light brown and clean, then the problem is either a leak or a heavy right foot. (Or you have a 320). And check tyre pr...
