As with most BMWs, proper people have wagons. The saloon as well as being ugly has a strong stench of council. Obviously the wagons are rare and command more money but that will work in your favour when you get tired of the 13mpg and dashboard disco !

Pricey but the picture post card location must be paid for. My burger and handful(small) of chips was rather ordinary and the Gouda rather rank . Have since been back with the mrs and it was excellent. I even fed the ducks !

I am guessing it is some sort of homemade engine lift hook sandwiched between the head and the top timing cover and retained by a 13 mm bolt. NO M20 engine BMW ever left the factory with one of them attached to it !
