I own a 325i touring and was wondering if the gearbox is different to that of a 325i sport or is it the same.

Also what LSD ratio is best for a 1989 325i touring?

This morning my stereo my rev counter and clock in the centre console have stopped working. There is no power going to the stereo. It's all happened at the same time, is there a connection here?

Did the alpina cars have different suspension to say the 325i sport or was it the same?

Looks lovely mate.

Biggest thing to look out for is RUST. Look everywhere, get the car up on a ramp, take the carpets out of the boot, check the scuttle,rear arches etc

was on 17 inch alpina replicas now on 15 inch bbs... I have covered less than 3000miles on the kit and i'm seriously looking to go back to standard or near standard setup. It does however look good with the 60/40 drop!!!

I've got 60 front 40 rear... using h and r cup kit... its about as low as you should go...

no its completely dead... i will look into it tomorrow.

how low is the b12 kit? some places quote 35mm and others 25mm

I want to go back to a stock back box, but the prices are getting silly now.

I,m currently using the H and R Cup Kit 60/40 drop on my sport which i purchased brand new. Its been on the car about 3000 miles and must say its a great bit of kit. Car handles really well around corners and looks spot on. The car I find is too low for driving over spped bumps. I really have to slo...

Is the fan viscous coupling the same item for cars with air con and cars without. It might sound a silly question but I need to know before I order the part. The car in question is a 325i sport with air con.

Are you serious... is the eibach bilstein setup you mentioned still provide a comfortable drive... I find the standard set up most comfortable... The 60 40 set up I'm currently using is annoying when driving on the roads around where I live. It looks good I guess but I think I'm getting too old for ...

Just drove my mates totally standard sport and the drive is so much more comfortable...

Looks like thats the route i'm gonna take, just hope original mtec 2 springs and shocks dont cost too much from BMW.

I lowered my sport using a brand new H n R kit less than 3000 miles ago... I am pretty happy with the look but its too low for me to enjoy the drive... its the 60 40 kit by the way... I am thinking of changing it... how low is the maximum that doesn't ruin the drive too much and what springs and sho...

I poke a rolled up newspaper into the fan and it stopped spinning so I guess the viscouse coupling needs replacing. Just to add my car has aircon and I understand a different radiator would this make any difference or is it still the same problem?
