It really is very simple, just jammed the circlips off with a screwdriver then pushed them back on when the strut is fitted. The struts will be extended as the horseshoe will be open!!

Don't get wholloped in the heed by the horseshoe!!

Simple, little circlip holding top and bottom, couldn't be easier!

So Ive bought my third E30!! went for a 325i Cabby this time. Saw it on Ebay, called the fella and went to collect it. Nice Spec... 58k on the clock Cruise control, works a treat! HLWW, not working yet! Full Sports leather Mint 15"BBS Set of Bottle tops too! Bad points, drivers door rusting 2 holes ...

Yeah I'll probably put an aftermarket alarm system on anyways, but would like to get it working anyways- if it's a fairly easy fix, bit of an OEM freak like that!! Ha ha!

The local restoration club is having an open day and car show today if anyone is at a loose end, not sure how busy it will be like. I will be taking the chromie along.

I'm back in the country for the next 4 weeks. Already got someone who wants the spoiler!

he's already been onto me last month. If i can find a replacement glacier blue bootlid when I get home then I will sell my spoiler. but dont want to sell it then have holes left in my bootlid if poss.

aye 320i. fairly strong engine. Not sure what i want for it yet. it does have some issues tho- mainly the rear valance has a crack in it- probably need cutting off and replaced. and some corrosion at the bottom of the front pillars. its worth a bit in parts like id say- but cant be arsed to break an...

i would also find this info useful- my touring is lowered 60mm so Ive got to drive onto a 2" block of wood before I can even entertain trying to get a jack under her!
