Just on the subject of tyres, I've tried Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PPs & RE 720s, and neither of them will budge in the rain on my 318is!. Both are really grippy in the dry too, but the RE720s are on 10,000 miles plus with plenty left, while the Pole Positions seemed to wear out in 8,000!?! Super sti...

After taking too long to fix a leaky radiator and ballsing up the refilling of the coolant I am now the proud owner of an overheated, busted 318is. Local garage says there is definitely a leak and the head needs reskimming, and quoted 400ish +vat to fix it. Unfortunately my bentley manual doesn't co...
