Wanted front shocks for 51mm legs
Help!!!!! I’ve had my Bilstein B8s on order since 13th May but keep getting told the delivery date is pushed back & back. I’ve scoured the Internet & even tried phoning old school breakers yards looking for any shocks to fit as I need the car rolling for next week. Does anyone have a pair of shocks ...

But do they sit a littl low in the pan to be effective? Any racers out there that can advise on w...

M20B25 oil starvation, baffled sump?
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a solution to oil starvation on my e30 track car.
My immediate thoughts are to buy/mod the sump, does anyone know who sells a kit or has one ready baffled for sale?
Cheers,
Ed.

Re: Which engine conversion?
Cheers Turk, I don't have the time/tools/knowledge to DIY, much prefer spending my time driving it. Speaking to Rich at Fritz's he can do an M50B28 conversion (with associated bits) for £3-4K, if you know of anyone that can do it for less, I'm happy to listen. Other option I'm considering now is to ...

Hi all, my track toy has just said goodbye to it's latest M20B25 so it's time to make my decision about which way to jump. I don't have the time/skill to do it myself and also have a budget so can't go for a mental upgrade. As mentioned it's a track toy so I'd like a bit more power but would like to...

Look for a guy called "slickersales" on ebay, he gets all sorts of part worn racing slicks.
My R888s are pretty much dead so am going to try set of slicks off him, at £200 for the 4 they're a darn sight cheaper than Toyos!

I was talking to a fellow E30 driver at Colerne in June and he mentioned that he had the return fuel line terminated across to the other side of the tank. Something to do with it then being right by the fuel pump. Does this make any sense? Was right at the end of the day so it's all a bit hazy. Thi...

Re: Track/race fuel pump?
Thanks for your advice guys. UweM3, it first happened when the tank fell just below half full so I topped it up to see if it would solve the problem. My friend then took it on track and it seemed to be fine.....until I took it out again (I think with it being my car I pushed it a bit harder?!) and i...

Hi all, following my first dry track day in my little track toy (325) I experienced a problem that you may be able to advise me on? I have a set of 14"s that were original on the car (it started life as a 316) and was going to sell them until I discovered drift days! I now have 3 sets of wheels, 1 set of 15" for the road, another set of 15" for the track and I now use the 14" for drift, you can get 4 tyres for about £40!

This is a job I have underway at the moment, well my brakes as a whole. My e30 started life as a 316. I bought it from a guy who'd stuck in the 2.5 lump along with gearbox and LSD from a 325i sport. I've removed the ignition switch from the back of the barrel, taken the wiring back into the dashboard and fitted a pushbutton start secured by a transponder immobiliser (it works a treat, just hold the transponder fob in your hand when you push the button and the car starts, no transponder fob, no ...

Adjusting the Tacho
I have a 316 shell fitted with the engine, gearbox & LSD from a 325 sport and the tacho is out (because there's now 6 cylinders not 4 I guess). Is there an adjustment/setting that can be made to the original tacho or do I have to swap the whole instrument panel?
