Genuine BMW 3 piece exhaust

Been looking at 3 piece exhaust options for my 88 325i cab for ages. Finally splashed out on genuine BMW middle and rear sections from BMW classic parts. They arrived a couple of days ago. They are Boysen manufactured. I recall a recent thread about this but couldn't find it. A few pics for anyone i...

Pete, I'm still looking for mine as it will be out of hibernation soon. BMW Classic parts still list these but there 257 Euros each for centre and rear section. I think they'll deliver to UK for free though. Works out at about 450 quid if i've done the maths right. I'm interested how you get on with...

Sounds good would be nice to see more E30 models available. To whet the appetite. An old Corgi model of mine recently recovered from the loft. Did look a bit better than this before my 2 yr old had it for a few days. Not had the kit off or carpets up yet - but she looks solid! http://i597.photobucke...

325i 3-piece exhuast options

Had my car in with Sweep recently and he said the back box is blowing. Mine is a 325i cabriolet with a 3 piece system - what has anyone bought recently? I want to keep it OEM but I daren't ask for a price on a genuine BM exhaust... Could get a Bosal one - but a search on here seemed to suggest they ...

It looks a nice car, I have one of these too. Sounds like you are in a similar position to me. The Wife won't go near it and much as my 2 year old son loves going in it, I don't travel far with him in it. Still it only costs £100 to insure it. So i'm keeping mine for a while. All the Motorsport stuf...

Should look good after the work you list.

Theres a guy on here - Z3I - selling an excellent blue roof on a manual frame for £350 which would sort you out nicely, have a look in parts for sale. :D

It'll be a nice car to keep for sunny days and more fun than money in the bank!

I have one of these early Motorsports. Looks a nice car and a bargain at that price.

I've fairly recently had my drivers seat back bolster repaired to a good standard for £60.

Get some BBS's on, ditch the m-badge and you have a nice looking car.

Looks a cracker in those pics - a good price if its as good as it looks and sounds.

I think it looks great on the bottletops. Manual hood is a bonus IMO no nasty electrics to go wrong.

Bet you can't wait to pick her up. :D

My standard Motorsport cab is insured with RH for less than £110 on a classic policy. Re the suspension mods - they've quoted me on a MK2 Golf GTI with and without uprated suspension the difference was only 10 %.

They're worth a call.

Early Motorsport cab - paint colour on sills

I have one of the early '88 Motorsport convertibles in Macau Blue. prior to my ownership it has had some paint in its past to keep it looking nice. Currently the stone chipped part of the sills is body colour - is this correct? Nearly all pre-facelift convertibles i've seen are black in this area. I...

Was less than £30 for a pair.

There seems to be some good experiences and some bad ones re Lancaster. Shopped around and went...

Agreed value insurance valuation needed

Just got the renewal through on my Motorsport cab, its on a classic policy from Lancaster. Its gone up from about £165 to £300 8O.
