The fronts are 7.5j and the 10j rears did rub with 225/45 profile tyres so I panicked and fitted the 215/30 profile tyres......but I think I will go to 225/40 profiles as these do look a it too stretched :o:

So I finally got round to re-building my rear wheels to give them a 10j dish :D the tyres gave a bit more of a stretch then I expected but I'll leave them for now until I get tired of parking 1 metre away from the kerbs :chuckle: anyway here are some pics http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b193/nmahm...

Thanks mate......I've got some 17" AC Schnitzer 3 Peice type 1 racing alloys for the car with negaro silver centres and gold bolts....7.5j front and 9j rear...currently off the car and these winter wheels are on :wink:

Check the suspension is ok (look for uneven wear on tires), check the rear mount turrets (if they do not have the re-enforced plates, they will break through and cost a bit to repair), check the rear axle is not cracked and also that they rear subframe is on securly to the chasis floor.......other t...

I've used BJV for all my alloys and I've had no issues with them....they were very helpful and I'd highly recomend them....true about the roads getting to them though :) the local BMW and Mercedes dealers use them too for their second hand and demo stock cars.

Mine is a genuine UK supplied 1989 M3 convertible in Diamond Swartz....has 60k on the clocks...mods so far are front evo II chin spoiler + splitter,smoked lights,front Recaro Speed seats(need to re-trim them now),lightened evo flywheel,hartge triple gauges(to be fitted on), 17" 3-peice AC Schnitzer ...

Mate..I got the seats for £300 of ebay :cool: and I then tracked a brand new set of recaro seat rails from ebay.de which came in for £70 including postage...and the fit was perfect...the seats are very comfortable and hold you in place..especially round the corners 8) by the way...when you start...

thanks for the comments guys....the seats are from an Evo IV winkeye the E30 Evo Recaro Speeds/SRDs tend to go for extremely silly money if you can find them...so I got these for a decent price and now I just need to get them re-trimmed...still are the Speed/SRD seats...just need to get the seat rai...

I'm with simian on this one mate...price wise...it's not too bad...stick with OEM,as replicas generally tend not to last too long or look as good as the real deal...besides,if you're gonna do it,then do it right :cool:

dips... :D :D :D :D don love smileys :D :D camshaft...it did come in a body wrap which is how I fitted the first part on the bonnet...but when it came to the side...the body wrap doesn't handle the curves too well :( so in order to avoid loads of air bubbles and constant re-arranging...it was easier...

style 5s with black centres and polished dishes are coming in a few weeks...and I have a set of Type I racing 3-peice A C Schnitzers with negaro silver centres and gold bolts all round sat at the wheel refurbers...just need to put both sets on and see which set looks better :? as for the lowering......

I always wanted to get the checkered flag decal on the front bonnet, but I wanted it to be subtle...after searching forever, I eventually managed to find someone in America who made them 8O ....the choices I had was: (1)in the M-Tec colours....(2)in black 'n' white.....(3) in black or silver carbon ...

takes a while to get used to it...I hated my first day :o: ...but give it 2 days tops and you'll be loving it...like harry_p said...the driving position is actually much more comfortable and natural 8)

I went for the 6000k ones as well.....lights the road up just fine :twisted: ...4300k are definetly the brightest but I wanted the HIDs to have a slight blue tinge and the 6000k gives you that :P the guy did change his name to open a new UK account because of all the interest he was generating just ...

I think they are genuine Bosch as they have a hologram on the ballasts and the stickers on the ballasts seem to be of good quality....a bit too much effort if they were fake winkeye ...there are some others now selling Bosch HID kits which blatently look fake and are more expensive :mad:

I've had HIDs conversion kits on other cars without the headlamp wash wipe system + auto leveling system and I've never had any issues on MOTs 8)
