H&R Spring recommendation for a Touring
HI, I have a set of bilstein sport shocks on the car already but I'm looking for a drop with some springs. Not sure which H&R sport springs to go with. I checked with this site and they don't have a recommendation for a Touring since they didn't sell it in NA. So I'm not sure what model would be app...

I know the Panasonic model I have is a couple years on but it's served me well and I have no complaints.
no my pic but an example of the orange light.

Can you speak more on the crossovers you're using and how you wired them up? I need a set for my tweeters and I'm not sure what to use. Thanks!

Sorry, I'm not seeing the difference in the pics. Are you saying you want to paint the lower portion of that valence black? The portion around the muffler area and only up to the crease line ? If so, any can spray paint will work. Though I'd go for a satin trim paint.

abrahamsmotorsport.com also has them. They have the Kopi version with the rounded lip. Also heavy and soft. Though they look nice when clean.

I think Recaro SRD's look the best in e30's. http://my.prostreetonline.com/photos/data/500/RecaroSRD2.jpg Though they are discontinued, I think the new ones are called Speeds. BMW Vader seats from an e36 fit too but they're a bit wider. http://www.eurosporthighperformance.com/Images/M3_For_Sale/Pass...

that's not going to work with a MTecII front spoiler since the Mtec is flat all the way across. That splitter is designed for IS lip spoilers.

Just get one in Canada. Plenty to be had. I got one,. 10-15 running in our city alone. Way cheaper to import across the border and get it federalized.

I think it's made out of ABS plastic. ABS can be reconstituted and as strong as original by simply welding more ABS to it. To make an ABS "glue", cut up pieces of ABS and mix that in with acetone or the chemical MEK. The pieces will melt and turn into a sludge. That sludge can be applied to the crac...

ugh, I hope you hadn't. I love how the Clarion looks in the dash but I hate how it operates. Real stupid things designed into it and frustrating to use. What H&R's and Bilsteins work with a touring?
I want to lower the car and I'm wondering what specific set of H&R's and Bilsteins will work with it. Someone was telling me that with a touring the extra weight could cause a problem? I sound really dumb right about now but if anyone could post examples of their setups, it would be greatly apprecia...

What is hooked up to the speakers in the front kick panels? Do you have speakers there or did the PO take those out too? It's super easy to run new speaker wires to the fronts. Kind of a pain to get them to the back speaker pods.

not trying to bash but what is the benefit of 12 o'clock gauges? I know that in early race cars they would turn the dials to an angle so that redline was at 12 o'clock. Any particular reason why yours show naught at 12?

Build a 10" sub enclosure for the rear of the touring. Maybe I should have thought it through some more. I want to lay the glass from the back, should I cut the back panel off the box? Lay fiberglass through the speaker opening? Take off the fiberglass as one and join it back to the box after? Any t...

Re: masking up wheels
I'm guessing you're painting the centers of your basketweaves charcoal grey or black? If you want the rims to stay silver then you can use painters tape to mask it off. You might want to mask off the back (inside the wheel) as well so the over spray or drips don't get everywhere.

My Panasonic units orange is bang on. Does MP3's has an AUXin for Ipod, has not let me down at all.
Here it is displaying red, but the orange is a real good match.
