you should check the hose coming from the idle valve to the intake manifold, did you remove the loom from the engine? i had the same problem on a m50 motor and the problem was that i connected the camshaft position sensor with the idle control connector and vice versa. the motor will start and run b...

i have (had-sold it to my mate for his e30
) a 2.7 10.2:1 cr with 885 head, slightly higher lift e21 323i camshaft, motronic 1.3 manifold, loom, injectors, t/body, ecu and afm. next upgrade is m50 injectors, how much for the 2.7 chip Ant? (ecu is 173). thank you

this is very simple, the "top" of the picture shows the vacuum port for the fuel pressure regulator
and the other one to the crankcase ventilation fitting on the front left side (passanger side for you UK guys) on the engine cover (camshafts cover)

i'm in disperate need for your help. i found an m5 motor and gearbox and i need a complete list of parts that i need, m5 e39 specific to work on a 88 e30, please take your time and think what parts are needed because i don't think i can find another m5 e39 for spares

i have a non vanos 2.5 with a cracked head, and a 2.0, can i use the 2.0 head with 2.5 camshafts on the 2.5 block?

ok so i have a 10.2:1 eta engine in my car. last night my timing belt slipped and one valve broke and made a huge hole in one piston, i bought 6 2.5 pistons, my question is will this work ok in the eta block? i also have the 2.5 head, intake, t/body etc

i bellive the only diference could be the overall diameter? i measured the place where the cover should be and is ~ 159mm thanks alot, it seems that some peple just can't understand that not all the people are rich. i'm only 18 years old and it's kinda hard for me to put all the money in the car but...
