Re: Remote Central Locking / Solenoids.

Right, managed to swap them over in my lunchbreak, and now the drivers door will lock from the remote, but won't send a signal to any other locks!

Remote Central Locking / Solenoids.

Another Central locking question!!! After going doing the red / black wire route, and swapping a solenoid from the boot to the drivers door, I thought I'd got the issue sussed! But no! I've just been to get my central locking wired to the alarm, and the chap in the shop has advised me it's still not...

Changing Locks

Another post in the technical section!!! :o: My driver's side lock has obviously been changed at some point, as it's a different key from the rest of the car! It's been being a right bastard to open the past few days, have a little bit of an idea it might be partially to do with the mechanism aswell...

Re:

I've always found Adrian Flux cheaper than HIC for my cars, but have gone with HIC this time around as they do agreed valuation, and cover to drive other cars... However I also called Brentacre, who were MUCH cheaper, but wouldn't do agreed valuation.... Depends on what sort of policy you want I gue...

Squeeking on full lock!

Either Sweep has fallen under the wheels of my car, and is stuck, or my car has developed a squeek! It happens when it's on full lock, travelling forwards and backwards (obviously!). The tyres / wheels are standard... It's not particulary low... But it does just sound like it's scrubbing! :? Any ide...

325 in a 320

Apologies for more questions! Have tried the search function, but can't find what I'm looking for!! How easy / expensive would it be to drop a 325 engine in my 320? And what's needed? Presumably it's quite straight forward? The car has abs & mtec suspension already... Is there a massive difference b...

Do a lot of people put porsche wheels on Bm's?

Being from vw originally, it's a pretty big thing, but haven't seen any with them on!

Anyone fancy photoshoppin some D90's onto a e30 for me?!

My car!

After 2 weeks of not getting round to uploading a photo, I've taken the whole 5mins to get one up! After looking at a complete pile of a cab, I saw this, and just couldn't say no! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/paul386/DSC00376Small.jpg Only a 320 unfortunately! :o: But has only done 73k, ha...

Faded Red!!!

Looking at a load of before and after photo's of some of your cars, what does everyone use to restore the shine to the red 'uns?!

My paint is in pretty good condition, but the roof is starting to fade a little... Any tips?

Hello mate, nope... The Cab was a complete DOG! Was up for £2700, but I would have given him 1k TOPS for it!!!

Have bought the right car in the end though, isn't a cab which is a shame, but looks a real gem.

Will have some pics up over the weekend!
